Missing Persons: Community Spotlight
This group highlights lesser-known missing persons cases that deserve attention, thoughtful discussion, and collaborative research.
Because there are thousands of missing persons cases, it isn’t practical to create a separate group for every individual case right away. Instead, this space allows the community to introduce and organize cases using name tags so discussions stay easy to follow.
Members can share timelines, articles, media, questions, and research while helping build awareness around cases that may not receive widespread coverage.
Case Promotion System
When a case begins generating consistent community interest — for example multiple research threads or 10–15 active members discussing the case — it may be promoted to its own dedicated CaseDive group.
This allows the community to organically decide which cases grow into larger research spaces while still giving many lesser-known cases a place to be discussed.
Requesting a Case
If you would like to see a missing person added to this group, you can:
• Send a message to CaseDive through the site
• Reply to the request thread in the Announcements group for Missing Persons Spotlight
Once a case is added, members can begin posting research, timelines, and discussion using the case name tag to keep everything organized.
A Community Effort
Some members enjoy building timelines. Some dig into documents and media.Others ask thoughtful questions or share updates when new information appears.
Every contribution helps bring attention to cases that deserve to be remembered and discussed.
If there is a case you believe should be included, please reach out. The community helps shape how this space grows.
