About

Black Marble

The internet is really good at one thing: making information disappear.

A post gets deleted. A live ends. A thread gets buried. A timeline gets split across six different platforms, and somehow everyone is arguing about screenshots from three years ago that nobody can find anymore.

The CaseDive was built because of that problem.

This space is designed to bring case discussion, timelines, records, research, media, and community conversation into one organized place.

At its heart, The CaseDive is part archive, part research hub, and part case directory with family and community participation. This site was built for the people with 47 tabs open at 2AM trying to track down where a piece of information came from.

(You know exactly who you are.)

Each Case Group acts as its own research space where timelines, files, discussions, media coverage, research tools, and community contributions can all live together instead of disappearing into endless feeds and comment sections.

Other spaces on the site include:

  • The CaseDive Media Lounge

  • Podcast/Investigative Creator "Companion" Groups

  • Group Guides

  • Case articles written by members of The CaseDive community

  • Research Resources

  • Missing Persons Pages

The goal here is not to create a drama machine or a “we solved the case” platform.

The CaseDive is built for organized discussion, case visibility, collaborative research, responsible archival work, and preserving information in a way that is easier to navigate.

Some people come here to research cases.
Some come to organize records.
Some contribute context or case materials.
All are welcome.

The platform also works a little differently than most online spaces. Instead of everything revolving around personalities or fast-moving feeds, the focus here is on the cases, the long-term preservation of information, and accessibility.

The CaseDive has grown into a collaborative ecosystem that can include researchers, creators, families, archivists, podcast communities, and contributors all working within the same structured spaces while still maintaining respect.

Because honestly, these cases deserve it.

-Welcome to The CaseDive.

How it works

The site is organized around individual cases. Each case has its own research group where members can:

  • build timelines

  • share information and public documents

  • discuss evidence

  • work through questions

Case Groups are added by suggestions from our members or family members of victims.

Above all, The CaseDive is a community. That means respectful conversation, responsible discussion, and an understanding that real people and real lives are connected to the stories we examine.

If you like to deep dive, you’re in the right place.

Membership

The CaseDive is completely free to join and use. The goal of the site is to provide a space where people can explore cases, share information, and discuss developments respectfully and without drama.

Age Requirement

Because the cases discussed on this site often involve serious crimes, violence, and sensitive subject matter, members must be 18 years of age or older to join discussion groups.
