Group Features and How it Works
Companion Groups are organized using a filing-cabinet style system designed to keep discussions, documents, and research easy to follow over time.
Topic Tabs function as the main “drawers” of the group and are used to separate larger categories such as, media, files, connected case groups, about sections, members and contact info.
Within posts, Tags function like individual “folders” used to organize specific cases, investigations, episodes, topics, or ongoing discussions. This allows related content to stay grouped together even as the group continues to grow.
The “General Discussion” tag is reserved for conversations not connected to a specific case or organized topic.
All posts within Companion Groups are fully searchable, helping members quickly locate discussions, referenced materials, media, timelines, documents, updates, or previously shared research.
Companion Groups are designed to remain organized and navigable long-term as investigations, discussions, and case coverage continue to evolve.
